Our classic hot air balloon flight is the best way for visitors to Marrakech who hope to experience the magic of a hot air balloon flight, over the Berber villages, desert landscapes and the Marrakech palm grove at a lower price.

The classic balloon flight is a one-hour flight with balloons carrying between 12 and 28 people. You will have a unique experience, enjoying a hot air balloon flight in a region renowned as one of the best places in the world for hot air ballooning.

Travellers will have the pleasure of floating through typical Berber villages, an arid desert region and one of the most beautiful palm groves in Morocco.

At the end of each flight a commemorative flight certificate is distributed to our dear participants.

About the activity

Cancellation without charge: You must cancel 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
Transfer to and from: A comfortable vehicle will pick you up from and to your accommodation.
Mobile or printed ticket: The confirmation voucher is accepted on mobile or printed on paper.
Accompanist who speaks your language: The team consists of members who speak French, English and Spanish.
Petit déjeuner: Un petit déjeuner typiquement local vous sera servi après l’atterrissage.
Wifi à bord: Une connexion wifi est disponible durant le vol en cas de besoin.
Permitted age: Everyone is allowed to participate except children under 5 years old.
Commemorative certificate: You receive a commemorative flight certificate to mark your ballooning experience.

Marrakech hot air balloon flight programme

We propose a flight around sunrise. This is the perfect time of day to take great photos of the valleys, palm groves and Berber villages as well as the other balloons in the air. Sometimes the flight is delayed a little due to weather conditions.
Season: Every day, all year round if the weather permits

Pick-up :

Summer (April to October): from 4:00 am to 5:00 am, depending on the location of your hotel or residence.

Winter (November to March): 5:00 am to 6:00 am, depending on the location of the hotel or residence.

How do I know when I will be picked up?

We will give you an estimated pick-up time at the time of booking. Our team will send you an e-mail or contact you by phone with the final pick-up time one day before the balloon flight, between 5pm and 7pm.

Pick-up and pre-flight :

We will pick you up at your hotel/residence in Marrakech to take you to our launch site early in the morning.

You will then watch the preparation of the balloons on the ground. You will have the opportunity to watch and take pictures. The preparation takes only 15 minutes.

The balloon takes off after the passenger briefing, which marks the beginning of your magical experience over Marrakech.

A welcome tea or coffee.

Take-off and flight :

Our hot air balloons start to take off around sunrise, they rise to about 1000m to show you the sunrise and extraordinary views of the Marrakech palm grove and its villages.

Then they descend and float through Berber villages and the beautiful desert of the Marrakech palm grove, giving you excellent views for taking photos or videos.

The duration of this tour is approximately 1 hour.

On landing:

On landing, we offer you a wonderful traditional Moroccan breakfast, served under Caesar tents.

A flight certificate will be given to you by our team, in order to commemorate this hot air balloon flight experience, at the end of the morning, our minibuses or 4×4 will take you back to your accommodation (hotel/residence/riad) in Marrakech.

We use hot air balloons with a capacity of 8, 12 or 28 people for the classic flight.
